Tobias Lindholm and Frederik Louis Hviid team up for a real-life-based crime thriller, Torpedo.

The film, written by the duo, will be directed by Hviid. It explores how gangs exploit young people, using them as torpedoes. The story follows 16-year-old Kian, who is ordered to commit a murder after a drug deal gone wrong.

The project is inspired by real events and based on comprehensive field research and interviews. Production company SF Studios explained that during the film’s development, they interviewed police officers, lawyers, academics and young criminals. The film is set to hit cinemas in 2027.
