Disney+ Sets Premiere Date for Korean Crime Thriller ‘Made in Korea’

Disney+ has set Dec. 24 as the premiere date for its new Korean crime noir series Made in Korea.

The series is led by Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung and is set against the backdrop of 1970s South Korea. The show will examine the themes of power, corruption and moral conflict.

Hyun Bin plays the role of Baek Kitae, a KCIA agent leading a double life in the criminal underworld. Meanwhile, Jung Woo-sung plays his adversary, Jang Geonyoung, a prosecutor determined to take Kitae down.

The series will debut with a two-episode premiere on Dec. 24. Made in Korea has already secured a second season, expanding Disney+’s K-drama category.
