Netflix has revealed Enola Holmes 3 began production, with a first look featuring Millie Bobby Brown. The pictures from the set were shared on Netflix’s official X account, with the leads Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge.
In November 2024, it was confirmed that Philip Barantini was to direct Enola Holmes 3. Also, the cast, including Himesh Patel, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster, was reported.
The producers of the movie are Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia for Legendary Entertainment, and Bobby Brown is joining them for Brown’s company, PCMA Productions. Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Richards will also be the executive producers for PMCA, while Joshua Grode represents Legendary, and Michael Dreyer will serve as an executive producer independently.
For Enola Holmes 3, Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2 writer Jack Thorne will once more work on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.
According to the film’s synopsis, Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide in a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.
In the first two movies, we watched Enola following the footsteps of her renowned brother, Sherlock Holmes (Cavill), solving mysteries throughout London. The first movie was aired on Netflix in 2020, during the pandemic, and created a loyal fan base in a short amount of time.
The movie will be the director Philip Barantini’s next work, who was praised for his recent crime drama Adolescence. Barantini is also known for his works Boiling Point and Accused.
