The new Nordic crime drama based on Jo Nesbø’s famous Detective Hole has its first images unveiled.
Detective Hole will star Tobias Santelmann as the iconic anti-hero detective Harry Hole. The nine-episode crime drama will focus on Harry Hole’s efforts to catch a serial killer while racing against the clock.
Author, Creator and Executive Producer Jo Nesbø talks about the series and says: “Finally we can reveal the premiere date and share this first look at Tobias Santelmann as Harry Hole. Seeing Tobias bring Harry to life has been really exciting and marks a new chapter for the character. I’m looking forward to sharing his take on Harry with the audience, and to have them join us for a truly dark and twisted journey.”
More than a classic whodunnit, the series will explore ethical boundaries, corruption and justice. Directed by Øystein Karlsen and Anna Zackrisson, the show is expected to stay true to the source material, with Jo Nesbø acting as the writer and executive producer. Detective Hole will air on March 26 on Netflix.
