Under Salt Marsh has been announced as a new Sky crime drama filmed and set in Wales.
The series stars Kelly Reilly as former detective Jackie Ellis, who leaves the police force after an unsolved case shatters both her career and family life, and later becomes a teacher. The cast also includes Sir Jonathan Pryce, Rafe Spall, Kimberly Nixon, and Harry Lawtey.

The six-episode series is set in the fictional Welsh town of Morfa Halen. The story begins as the town prepares for a powerful storm, during which the body of an eight-year-old child is discovered.
The tragedy brings renewed attention to the unresolved disappearance of Jackie’s niece Nessa, who went missing three years earlier. Jackie is forced to reunite with her former partner, Detective Eric Bull, a figure who previously failed the community and now has something to prove.
Under Salt Marsh is set to premiere on Sky in late January 2026.
