About The Killings: Parrish Station
In 1987, Detective Georgia Cooke (Wasikowska) investigates the brutal murder of four scientists, with one survivor immediately seen as the prime suspect. As Georgia digs deeper, she discovers a case woven with mania, ritual, and the occult. Her relentless pursuit of truth soon threatens her family, career, and sanity.

Decades later, Heather Mitchell portrays an older Georgia, who is pulled back into the nightmare when a chilling new series of murders suggests the horrors of Parrish Station were never fully buried.
The complete cast includes Robert Taylor, Alan Dale, Emma Lung, Doris Younane, Kat Hoyos, Nic English, Alex Malone, Geoff Morrell, Rob Carlton, Alex Lee, Cameron James, and Grace Owens.
The Killings: Parrish Station is created by Ben Jenkins, best known for ABC’s comedy podcast The Checkout, who transitions here into television drama. Tim Pye (Bali 2002) serves as writer and story producer, with Yolanda Ramke (Cargo) and Catherine Smyth-McMullen (The Sandman) also contributing scripts. Daniel Nettheim (The Tourist) will direct the series.
Screen Australia’s Director of Narrative Content, Louise Gough, highlighted Jenkins’ transition from comedy to drama: “Together with the experienced team at Helium Pictures, they’ve crafted a clever supernatural mystery that is genuinely propulsive and inherently bingeable.”
Michael Healy, Nine Entertainment’s Executive Director of Entertainment Content Commissioning, described the project as “a striking addition to the Stan Originals slate, a bold and distinctive series that pushes the boundaries of Australian drama.” And added that “It is a testament to creative storytelling at its best, led by the visionary creator Ben Jenkins, who has masterfully woven together a cosmic-horror-meets-cold-case tale.”
Mark Fennessy, the executive producer for Helium, called the series “a haunting and deeply human story — a gripping, time-spanning thriller with compelling female leads told across two timelines with the scale and suspense of True Detective and the bite of Yellowjackets.”
Julie Meldal-Johnsen, EVP of Global Content at ITV Studios, added: “The scripts are some of the finest we have read – smart, shocking, and suspenseful with raw human emotion – and now brought to life by an acclaimed cast and crew.”
