Fox has renewed Memory of a Killer for a second season.
The thriller, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli, received the renewal announcement alongside its season finale on April 6. The series is adapted from the Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer and the book of the same name, with Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler serving as showrunners.

Memory of a Killer launched strongly, with its premiere attracting a total of 16.2 million viewers across platforms, marking Fox’s most-watched digital drama debut in six years. While linear ratings have tapered off, the show has performed exceptionally well on Hulu, frequently appearing in the streaming service’s Daily Top 10. This strong digital performance played a key role in securing its second season.
The story follows a hitman who is slowly losing his memory and must confront his past while protecting his family from emerging threats. Produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, the show has quickly become one of the network’s standout programs, both in terms of ratings and streaming success. Other Fox series recently renewed for new seasons include Best Medicine, Doc, and Animal Control.
