Netflix’s highly anticipated new crime drama, Nemesis, is set to bring a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game to the streets of Los Angeles.
As the first project from the creative partnership between Power Universe creator Courtney A. Kemp, Tani Marole, and Netflix, the series centers on the intense clash between a relentless detective and a master thief.
Aiming to breathe new life into the heist genre with added psychological depth, the production explores universal themes of loyalty, self-preservation, love, and loss through a lens of gripping action.
Starring Matthew Law as Detective Isaiah Stiles and Y’lan Noel as heist mastermind Coltrane Wilder, the ensemble cast also features veteran actors such as Domenick Lombardozzi, Michael Potts, and Stephanie Sigman.
With the first two episodes helmed by veteran director Mario Van Peebles, who also serves as executive producer alongside Chris Selak and Philipp Barnett, “Nemesis” is scheduled to premiere globally on Netflix on May 14, 2026.
