UK television channel True Crime has announced an expanded fall lineup featuring a mix of original commissions, returning factual series, and a podcast adaptation.
Leading the slate is UK Forensic Breakthroughs, a new 10-part production from Monster Films that follows forensic scientist Jo Millington as she revisits ten real-life murder investigations where scientific innovation and microscopic evidence proved crucial in securing convictions. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 22.
Joining the lineup is Deadly Destinations, produced by WAM Media Group, which debuts on September 23. The documentary series explores true crime cases connected to travel, examining how holidays, business trips, and relocations can take deadly turns.
Also arriving this fall is This Much Is True Crime, a television adaptation of the popular podcast hosted by criminologist Professor David Wilson and journalist Martin Frizell. Premiering on September 4, the series will revisit high-profile criminal cases while exploring the broader issues surrounding crime and criminal investigations.
Completing the schedule, Britain’s Countryside Killers has been renewed for a third season. True Crime is operated as a joint venture between AMC Networks International and Paramount Global.
