Banijay Rights has announced a new live immersive experience based on the Peaky Blinders universe, set to launch in London.
Titled Peaky Blinders Underworld, the project will open in August 2026 near London Bridge and is designed to fully transport visitors into the gritty criminal world of Thomas Shelby and his gang.
The experience blends interactive theatre, actor-led performances, and gamified storytelling, allowing guests to actively participate in the narrative rather than simply observe it. It is structured around two main zones: a publicly accessible space called the “Garrison Tavern,” designed as a recreated post-war pub, and a separate ticketed “Underworld” section where the main interactive storyline unfolds.

Inside the attraction, visitors will move through a series of themed environments such as Garrison Lane, Chinatown, The Bookies, and a Small Heath fairground-inspired area. Each space offers its own missions, character interactions, and branching story elements, encouraging guests to engage with shifting alliances and narrative-driven challenges as part of the Shelby-inspired world.
The project is being developed through a partnership between KMJ Entertainment and Banijay Rights, combining live entertainment production expertise with global IP distribution. Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has described the concept as a broader social and experiential extension of the series, designed to let fans engage with the world in a new, interactive format.
Alongside this immersive launch, the Peaky Blinders franchise is also set to continue on screen, with new BBC and Netflix seasons expected to arrive between 2027 and 2028, further expanding the television universe in parallel with the live experience.
Peaky Blinders’ creator Steven Knight said: “Peaky Blinders Underworld is not just a recreation of the Shelby family’s world, but a much wider destination. This venue gives fans the opportunity to socially engage with their beloved series through a completely new prism, while those less familiar with the show will find plenty to love about it too.”
